Kentucky Retractable Roof Project #4588 Project Description

In Lebanon, Kentucky, the Marion County Detention Center (MSDC) needed to meet a  requirement offering  indoor and outdoor recreation to its inmates, year-round.  In lieu of building new space with traditional construction, MCDC had a Libart Retractable Roof system added on top of their current outdoor recreation areas.  In good weather there’s sunshine in the outdoor recreation area and when cold and wet weather arrives, the roof closes quickly to keep people warm and dry, while providing a view of the sky.
