The Story

Offering the options of an outdoor street shopping experience on nice days plus a indoor, climate-controlled mall shopping environment when protection from the weather is needed, The Point Bornova Shopping Mall in Izmir, Turkey, became the first shopping mall in Asia featuring a retractable skylight roof.

Requirements

The total retractable space is 5,000 square meters and features 22 retractable Clearsky systems.  The insulated commercial skylights are approximately 11 meters x 20 meters in total size.
