On the rooftop of a three-level restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey is a skylight that fully retracts to let fresh air in when the weather is warm. During the summer season  the the skylight area is very popular and restaurant revenues increase. The skylight area can also be a smoking area that attracts a larger variety of patrons.
