Rhode Island Retractable Roof #4349 Project Description
The first floor seating area at Flo’s Clam Shack in Middletown, RI, needed a nice-looking little retractable enclosure to protect patrons dining on clams from nasty weather. The retractable enclosure is open in nice weather and completely closed when a nor’easterner blows in.
Six screened sliding windows, one double-wide biparting sliding door, one single-wing swinging door in gable end, opening out onto stairs, 12″ extra height. Includes gable end coupling system. R3 retraction with 3 modules and 3 bays. Top is glazed in 10mm bronze twinwall translucent PC. Both sides and bottom panels of gable end (AM1) are glazed in 4mm transparent clear acrylic. The top of the gable end is glazed in 4mm bronze transparent PC.
