Bosphorus Cafe Retractable Roof #4347 Project Description
Cafes and restaurants have learned that open air dining with a retractable roof back-up in bad weather, significantly increases their revenue. When they added a Libart retractable roof to their establishment, Zeytin Cafe in Istanbul, Turkey, the establishment became a year-round, rather than a summer restaurant, with phenomenal views of the terrace gardens on the European side of the city.
The Libart Retractable Enclosure system can be opened whenever the weather is good, allowing fresh air to enter for much of the year. Fixed roof cafes and restaurants are challenged to compete without an open-air environment in the summer. In cooler weather, the closed roof still brings in a lot of natural light in to make visitors feel like they are outdoors. With the help of two split air conditioners (heater and cooler) on both end-walls, Zeytin cafe creates a warm atmosphere, even in winter.

Profile color is 9002 (white). This unit has 24″ of extra height, 7 windows, 1 double-wing swinging door (D1) and one double sliding door (D5). The module configuration is 8 modules and 8 bays. All glazing for this project is 4mm clear acrylic.
